In plain words

Superseded. *Regenerative Systems Metamind* was the expansion of RSM in Concept Paper 2.1.0, and the Metamind was its name for distributed cognition. Both are historical: the Metamind is not a current architectural layer. The current foundation and architecture is [OpenRSN](/concepts/openrsn); the distributed reasoning the Metamind described is part of OpenRSN's Intelligence capability (01 §19.4), and it keeps the same boundaries: reasoning stays Derived until participants with authority commit, a DigitalAgent's capability confers no authority, and no participant surrenders custody of its own state.

Reading older texts. Until Concept Paper 2.1.0, RSM expanded to *Regenerative Systems Model*, and some earlier documents used *Regenerative Systems Map*. Where older text uses RSM or any of these expansions for the work as a whole, read [OpenRSN](/concepts/openrsn); where it means the semantic foundation, read the [OpenRSN Model](/concepts/model). *Regenerative Systems Model* remains current in one technical sense: in vocabulary and schema definitions it is the expansion of the namespace rsm:.
