In plain words
The OpenRSN Model is the specified semantic and computational foundation that OpenRSN's three capabilities share. *RSM Model* is its historical name. Its vocabulary lives in the permanent canonical namespace rsm:, where *rsm* stands for Regenerative Systems Model: a stable technical designation, not a second public name (01 §19.6). It defines the semantics, identities, relationships, behavior, authority, evidence, state transitions and feedback from which many different maps can be produced. Taxonomy terms describe the Model rather than any particular visual representation.
What it is not
Model ≠ Map
The Model is the underlying semantic and computational model; a Map is one projection or visualization of part of it, and no Map is the Model itself. From Map to Model · Concept Paper (source: 01 §1.1)
Model ≠ Metamind
The Model is the semantic and computational foundation; the Metamind was edition 2.1.0's name for the distributed cognition that reasons through it, and is no longer a current layer. Model, Map, and Earlier Names · Concept Paper (source: 01 §19.5)
Model ≠ OpenRSN
The OpenRSN Model is the specified semantic and computational foundation; OpenRSN is the foundation and architecture whose three capabilities share it. OpenRSN, the Nexus, and Compatibility Identifiers · Concept Paper (source: 01 §19.6)
